Linda VanHorne (pictured) has been cleaning up the roadside ditches, overpasses along our highways and observed picking up garbage in our parks for a countless amount of years! Her hard work and dedication to our community should not go unnoticed, which is why she is deserving of the Community Spirit Award!
Toni Aarts is also recognized with the Community Spirit Award because she takes pride in seeing clean roadways in Thames Centre and takes time out of her schedule to clean garbage out of the ditches. She has done this for many years, and never for recognition, simply for the pride she has for her community!
